Orlando Herrera was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico but grew up in Tijeras, New Mexico.  He is a self-taught artist, and his inspiration comes from his family of musicians and artists. He started off practicing the saxophone and the piano but fell in love with visual art when he got to middle school. 

   In 1995 he had an art piece that was showcased in 'Lowrider Art Magazine" and also had an art piece at the New Mexico State Fair. In 2004 he started learning to airbrush and hasn't stopped since. He does canvas airbrush paintings and also murals   He also enjoys drawing with pencil, colored pencils, and pen.
